Mrs. Lemons Classroom Guidance Lessons
Each month kindergarten through second grade students will come to my classroom to learn about character traits such as Respect, Responsibility, Honesty and Kindness. In connection with this curriculum we will explore topics such as feelings, friendship, and self-esteem.
Third and fourth grade students will visit my classroom twice a month. This year I will be working with these students on anti-bullying curriculum, service projects and career exploration. This will prepare your student for their transition to KMIS.
In September, Kindergarten students will learn about the school counselor and what she does. They will also explore their feelings about starting school.
First and Second graders will learn about responsibility and how important it is for school, home and the community.
Third and Fourth graders will be learning about what bullying is and where it happens in the school. They will all sign an anti-bullying pledge for the year.
