Uniforms. The uniform will be worn on Tuesday of each week during the semester as determined by the Senior Aerospace Science Instructor (SASI) or Aerospace Science Instructor (ASI). The uniform will be a graded items based on a standard evaluation sheet (fig 1). The uniform combination will be posted each preceding Friday. Each cadet should be within grooming standards and will receive a zero if uniform is not worn. If a student is absent on the normal uniform day, they should wear the uniform the first day they return to school. There are no make-up’s afterwards unless otherwise directed by the SASI or ASI. Students who are assigned to ISS will wear there uniform and will request permission from the ISS manager to come to the AFJROTC class during their normal period for
inspection.
Progress Checks. Progress checks will be given on an ad hoc basis to ensure cadets comprehend the instructions being provided. They also serve as checkpoints throughout the nine-weeks for the instructors and cadets. Progress checks may be conducted in class or assigned for outside classroom completion.
Exams. One comprehensive exam will be given each nine-weeks to capsulate the instructions provided during that period.

Leadership Development. Leadership development consists of those activities that support citizenship development as demonstrated through cadet initiative, cadet maturity, cadet behavior, peer relationships and involvement classroom and corp activities, eg. knockout and classroom discussions.
Community Service. Each cadet must complete five community service activities each nine weeks to receive their five points. Each activity is worth 1 point. Such activities include, performance as a member on the drill team, color guard, saber team during a community support function; cadets performing individual community service activities; and cadets supporting AFJROTC sponsored community service projects. Other activities students can receive credit for are community service projects sponsored by other School Clubs, Boy Scouts, community service organizations (YMCA), emergency service organization (Fire Department) and church organizations. Documentation must be provided in order to validate your participation in Non-AFJROTC sponsored activities.
Physical Training. To earn your 5 points, students must actively participate in physical training to the maximum extent possible.
