The Contest is ON!
This year, our 8th Grade String Orchestra will be going to the Carowinds Music Festival on Friday, May 14th, 2010. We will be preforming at 9:25 in the morning in front of 3 collage music professors. We will be judge on our performance of 3 pieces of music and receive a rating of 1 through4. 1 is the highest score a group can receive.
Cost for the trip will be $43 per student. This money is for the festival, a ticket for the park, and to help with fuel for the bus.

Our upcoming Christmas Concert has been set for Tuesday night, December 8th at 7:00. 7th and 8th Grade Bands and 7th and 8 Grade Orchestras will be on the concert. Dress for the concert will be black and white. Boys will need black or near black pants, white shirts and a tie. No tennis shoes please. Girls may wear a black dress or pants with a white top. This concert is mandatory and each student will receive a grade for their attendance.
