A bit more about me
I grew up in Belwood and graduated from Burns High School in 1996. From there, I went to Appalachian State University on a Teaching Fellows' Scholarship and graduated with a B.S. in Secondary Mathematics Education in 2000. I graduated from Gardner-Webb University in 2009 receiving a Master's degree in School Administration. I feel privileged each and every day I walk into Burns High School and have the opportunity to help some student further his or her education. I coached the JV Boys' Basketball team from the 2007-2008 season through the 2009-2010 season and began coaching again during the 2011-2012 season. It is my goal that each student at Burns High School, not just my students, be successful and graduate in four years with opportunities to better themselves.
