- 100% of staff agreed that there are positively stated rules/behavioral expectations.
- Great idea to have PBS Matrix in cafeteria serving line to remind students of ROCK expectations in the cafeteria.
- Front hallway ROCK poster is awesome.
- Nice to see ROCK bulletin boards with student work, rewards, and academic successes.
- Behavioral Expectations Taught (10/10)
- Great use of Daily Planner to review ROCK expectations.
100% of PBS team members asked state that teaching of behavioral expectations to students has occurred this year. 97% of students knew “ROCK”.
- System for Rewarding Behavioral Expectations (6/6)
- Excellent implementation in this area! It is obvious that all students have been rewarded.
- Fantastic to see use of data to determine additional fifth grade rewards. Tea and Treat (T&T) is an awesome idea.
- 100% of staff asked indicated that they have given rewards in the last two months.
- Responding to Behavioral Violations (8/8)
- All staff agreed on behaviors that are office-managed vs. classroom- managed.
- It is obvious that Marion staff is proactive in preventing behavioral violations (Girl’s Group).
- Crisis Plan is posted in classrooms, front office, cafeteria, and library.
- 100% of staff agreed with administration on the procedures for handling extreme emergencies.
- Monitoring and Decision Making (8/8)
- It is obvious that Marion Intermediate uses monthly data to analyze and revise their PBS efforts.
- Marion PBS Team continues to use staff feedback to make needed changes to PBS Implementation.
Good idea to wait until ODR forms run out before ordering new forms that include time of day and probable motivation on the office referral form.
- 100% of PBS team members can identify the team leader.
Excellent plan to include administration in all phases of PBS implementation. Wonderful PBS Newsletters! Glad to see you share it with parents. Excellent job with including PBS on the School Improvement Plan. Great idea to have staff share at monthly faculty meetings PBS implementation ideas from their halls.
