This is a website created in order to be a literacy and math resource for K-12 teachers. I've also added a For Parents page in order to organize some online resources for students to enjoy at home that will also reinforce ideas and skills learned at school. Parents, please feel free to access the rest of the site as well, and utilize some of the other great resources available to you and your child online. The site is organized according to the five big ideas in reading: phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. I've also included a page for writing resources and math strategies. Many of the materials and strategies can be modifed for younger and/or older students. You will find lesson plans, strategy procedures, handouts, and links to other helpful websites. Please feel free to use these materials in your classroom.
