Meet the Teachers

Dear Students and Parents,
My name is Melissa Crotts.  I have taught at Township Three for seven years.   I graduated from Appalachian State University with a Masters degree in Elementary Education.
I was born and raised here in Shelby, NC. When I was a young girl I enjoyed playing the piano, dancing, and playing school with my younger sisters.  My younger sisters are all grown up now.  My sister, MaryBeth, is a nursing student at ECU.  My sister, Katie, is in the Army.  She is my hero and one of the bravest people I know!
I lOVE snow.  Winter is my favorite season. There is nothing better than building a snowman, sledding down an icy hill, and warming up with a delicious cup of hot chocolate on a cold winter's day.  Cupcakes, Christmas time, Boone, shoes, and music are a few of my favorite things.
I love teaching and working with the students at Township Three.  I am looking forward to a fabulous year!
                                                                                 Sincerely,
                                                                                 Ms. Crotts
