Related Services, Hearing and Vision Services in the Preschool Classroom
The related services provided in the North Shelby Preschool Class include: occupational therapy, speech therapy, and physical therapy. Vision and hearing services are provided also. These therapies and services are generally provided in the preschool classroom. The therapists and teachers are responsible for sharing information with the classroom staff in order for them to carry out the therapy strategies everyday throughout the day with the children. All hearing impaired, vision and related services are provided on an as needed basis according to the individual child's needs and their
Individual Education Plan.
