Lisa Warren is the teacher in the Preschool Classroom. I was born and raised in Shelby. I am married to Banzen Warren and have two daughters, Sierra (thirteen years old) and Eliza (nine years old). The 2012-2013 school year is my twenty-second year of teaching, and the twenty-firsth year in Preschool. This is my nineteenth year at North Shelby School. I received my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I have National Board Certification. My family and I are members of Broad River Community Church.

Denise Borders is one of our teacher assistants in Preschool. She is married to Justin Freeman. She has two daughters, Chi'Ann (6 years old) and Charlene (5 years old). This is her tenth year at North Shelby. She enjoys working with children. She has an Early Childhood Associates degree from Cleveland Community College.

Ms. Kenyata is new to classroom this year and we are very excited about having her as part of our North Shelby Family! Ms. Kenyata has a twelve year old daughter, Kaniya, who attens Burns Middle School. She has been in the Early Childhood Education Field for 13 years.
