CLEVELAND COUNTY SCHOOL HEALTH
The goal of the School Health Program is to assure a safe and healthy environment that promotes learning. Services provided by the school nurse include assessment, planning, intervention, follow up, vision and hearing screenings, doctor referrals, training of staff to assist students with chronic illnesses, develop health care plans, and provide resource information for school staff.

Medications:
If your child requires prescription or over-the-counter medications during the school day, the following must be completed:
* Request for Medication Form must be signed by the health care provider and the parent.
* The parent must bring the medication to school in the original unopened container or in the pharmacy labeled bottle.
* If your child requires asthma medication, medication for diabetes, or an EpiPen it is very important that they have these available at school.
