Welcome to Mrs. Phillips' webpage!
THIS SCHOOL YEAR IS FLYING BY AND WE ARE WORKING HARD TO KEEP UP THE PACE!!
PLEASE SEND ANY OF THE FOLLOWING THROUGHOUT THE SCHOOL YEAR:
School supply wish list: notebook paper, pencils, hand sanitizer, hand soap, kleenexes, paper towels, zip loc bags (all sizes), baby wipes, snacks
If you have any questions or need to schedule an appointment, please feel to contact me at school, after 3:00 at (704)481-8001 or you can email me at lbphillips@clevelandcountyschools.org.
IMPORTANT: If at any time during the school year, your phone number or address changes, please send a note so we can let the office know. This is extremely important in case there is an emergency or if your child gets sick at school. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter!
LOST AND FOUND: If your child has lost any items (coats, bookbags, etc.) please make sure they are checking the Lost and Found box located between the gym door and the lunchroom door.
A little bit about me:
My name is Leslie Bumgardner Phillips. I was born and raised in Polkville, North Carolina. I am a 1999 graduate of Burns High School, a 2001 graduate of Cleveland Community College, and a 2004 cum laude graduate of Limestone College. I have been at Union Elementary for 7 years. I was a kindergarten assistant for 3 years, and this is my 4th year as a 4th grade teacher. I love the staff and students here, and really enjoy my job. I am married to Seth Phillips, and we have 1 son, Zackary (who is in 1st grade this year), and a daughter, Kaylee, who is 14 months old. I am so glad you visited my web page. Please check back weekly for important reminders and updates.
