We have implemented a new program for homework.
If your child does not do their homework (ONE TIME) they get one free pass
each month.
The second time they do not have homework they have to go to homeork
intervention. During lunch they will go to a support teacher, eat their
lunch and do their homework.
The third time they will have homework intervention again. At this time,
someone will be calling to see why the homework is not getting done.

2ND TIME: Homework Intervention
3RD TIME: Homework Intervention

Incentive: On Friday something extra to those who have done it all week.
We start over every month
Each day in class we will be studying Phonics, Math, Reading, Spelling,
Grammar, Writing, Science/S.Studies/Health.
On Monday-Thursday your child will have homework in each of the following
curriculum areas:
Phonics
Math
Reading
Spelling
- Other various activities/assignments may be signed on occasions.
* Please check your child's purple folder daily for homework sheets,
reminders and test papers to be signed and returned.
*Take Home Tuesday- each Tuesday your child's test papers will come
home to be signed and returned to school ASAP.
* Please don't forget to sign your child's planner daily so that you can
be informed of homework assignments and your child's behavior for the day.
* In your child's purple folder- you will see the AR sheet for each nine
weeks. This sheet will be recorded with your child's accurate AR points
and comprehension percentage for that week. This paper will be updated
each Friday.
