Our scientists have been hard at work again learning about freshwater plants and animals (guppies and snails) and woodland plants and animals (millipede and pill bug). We even held a pill bug race down the hall for Mrs. Goins to watch! We are doing a lot of comparing and contrasting!
We were so fortunate to have Burns High Students that are aspiring to be teachers with us on March 1st for Dr. Seuss - Read Across America. These students came to our room to read a Dr. Seuss story and do a craft with our children. Check out the wonderful pictures!

Flat Stanley continues to travel around the world. We are mapping his travels and getting great letters and pictures from his new friends. Please let us know if there is someone we can send him to in a different state that you know!
Stanley is really moving around!
During our Gingerbread Unit Study, we made gingerbread houses from our milk cartons and planned a community. We had a library, garage, school, grocery store, jewelry store and many houses. These are just some of the pictures of our planning and developing. The students named our streets, lanes and avenues with a Christmas Theme in mind.
Field Trip on November 9th!
