Quote:  *You will achieve a grand dream, a day at a time, so set goals for each day -- not long and difficult projects, but chores that will take you, step by step, toward your rainbow. Write them down, if you must, but limit your list so that you won't have to drag today's undone matters into tomorrow. Remember that you cannot build your pyramid in twenty-four hours. Be patient. Never allow your day to become so cluttered that you neglect your most important goal -- to do the best you can, enjoy this day, and rest satisfied with what you have accomplished.

A bit more about me

I was the Lead Title I Teacher last year at Casar School and have been working in the Title I program for 14 years.  I graduated from Appalachian State University in December 2009 with my BA in Elementary Education and hope to return soon to get my Master's in Reading.
I have two children - Eric who has graduated from Greensboro College and Pagie who is pursuing a career in the medical field.  I have a 2 lb. puppy and her name is Baby.  I also have a new puppy - Tim who joined our family in Jan. 2013.
I attend New Home Methodist Church in Casar and I'm a volunteer and member of the Cleveland-Rutherford Kidney Association.  I am also an 8 year melanoma cancer survivor.
I'm so excited to be working in First Grade with your children this year at Casar - it's the best school in the county!
