Welcome to Mrs. Kathie Burgin's web site!
I am Mrs. Kathie Burgin, facility director of Malcolm Brown Auditorium on the Shelby High School campus and one of the Theatre Arts Teachers at Shelby High School. I am proud to say that I am a graduate of Shelby High (Class of 1968). I received my Associate of Arts Degree from Peace College in Raleigh, NC; was a theatre major at UNC-Chapel Hill and earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications with a minor in Theatre from Gardner-Webb University. I have been married to Bobby Burgin for over 37 years now and we have a beautiful daughter, Quinn Burgin Saleeby (graduate of SHS, Class of 2000, who lives in South Carolina with her wonderful husband, Wil Saleeby.
