Welcome back to school to the SMS 6th, 7th and 8th grade bands. I hope you are ready for another exciting year. 7th and 8th grade students need to get your instruments out over the next few weeks and check them out to make sure they are in good working order. Get to practicing. Reed players you will need new reeds before the school year begins. Brass players make sure you have valve and tuning slide grease for your instruments.
We are still looking for more 6th grade band students. We have some instruments still available for use if you can not afford your own. Please contact Mr. Phillips at 704-4768328 for more information.
Please return book order forms as soon as possible. We are ordering books on Thursday, September 2, 2010.
