Mr. Davis KMIS 5th Grade Math
My name is Jimmy Davis. I'm a lifetime native of Kings Mountain, NC. I am a graduate of Gardner-Webb University. While at GWU, I recieved a BS in Mathematics with 9-12 certification, K-6 certification, and a Masters in School Administration.
I worked in the finance office of Kings Mountain District Schools for 2 years and eventually began working at KM High which lasted 1 year. My next stop was Grover Elementary where I spent 7 years teaching fourth grade. When Kings Mountain Intermediate was being built, I felt like it was time for a change and I have been here since the school opened. I have taught 5th and 6th grade here.
My favorite past time is watching football. You can find me at the Mountaineer games every Friday. I have one daughter Brandi, age 24 and a granddaughter Peyton, age 3.
