Words of wisdom:  Everything you put your hands on, do your BEST!
Ask your child if they hear these words often!  We always strive to do our best!
Thank you parents for the wonderful support and assistance with your children.  I want the best for them and I know you do too!

Please be sure to check your child's planner each night for the homework and behavior for that day.  Also, assist them with completing their reading log and other homework assigments.  They are so smart, but we all need someone to check behind us!

Try these healthy habits at home!
1.   Get enough good sleep each nigtht.  Sleep helps your child pay attention and remember information.
2.  Exercise!  Your child should get at least 30 minutes of physical activity each day or most days.  60 minutes is even better!
3.  Eat a healthy, balanced diet!  Children need three healthy meals a day, plus healthy snacks.  Serve foods rich in vitamins, minerals, and fiber.
4.  Limit watching TV.  The more time your child watches TV, the less time he/she will spend on exercise, homework, or other healthy alternatives.
 5.  Set limits.  Have limited television, phone use and computer use.  Preview games before they play.
If you haven't had a conference with me and your child is in my homeroom, please call and set up an appointment to meet together!
Thanks for your support!
