Welcome to the Virtual Lab for Online Learning
To parents and students of the 2009-2010 school year:
Shelby High School is proud to present a state of the art computer lab, complete with 20 computers and all the equipment you will need to assist you in your studies and online courses. It is located at the back of the media center. The computer lab is available after school to any students taking on online course this year, which means you will have an extra hour to complete any unfinished assignments related to your course. I will be there as well to help assist you with any questions you may have. The lab will close daily at 4:00P.M.
Below are the guidelines you are to follow while while in the lab.
-Be on time: You are to be in the lab when the bell rings.
-Keep up with assignments, quizzes and tests as assigned.
-Check your email everyday.
-Stay only on website directly related to the course you are taking.
-Do not change your password.
-Do not disrupt others who are working. Use any free time to work quietly on assignments for other classes, read, etc.
-Abide by the discipline code of your online class as well as those rules put in place by SHS. The same expectations are held in here as in any other class.
-No food or drink in the lab.
-Mid-term and final exams must be taken in the lab.
