7th Grade Language Arts
I have been teaching at Burns Middle School since 2004. Previously I taught for 8 years in Florida. During that time I taught Read 180 for four years. Since I am a Read 180 certified teacher, I taught 6th and 7th grade Read 180 at BMS for 3 years before teaching 7th language arts.
I graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in Athletic Administration and Coaching. I also had a minor in English and Secondary Education.
I am certified by the state of North Carolina to teach language arts in the middle grades. I also have coached girl's softball and basketball.
