Boiling Springs Elementary School
Title I Parent Involvement Policy
The staff of Boiling Springs Elementary School is committed to the goal of “a high-quality education for every child.” We believe that the education of children is a cooperative effort between parents and schools. More importantly, we believe that the involvement of Title I parents increases the effectiveness of the program and contributes significantly to the success of the children.
The Title I staff of Boiling Springs Elementary School will strive to involve parents in various activities throughout the year. Parents will be invited to attend annually scheduled meetings and parent training sessions based on the needs of parents as expressed through personal contacts. It will be our goal to make you feel welcome in our school, and specifically, the Title I classroom. Boiling Springs Elementary School has an open door policy that encourages parents to visit their child’s classroom, attend parent-teacher conferences and school activities, and volunteer their time throughout the year.
Parents will be informed of their child’s progress and Title I activities through newsletters, progress reports, telephone contacts, and/or parent-teacher conferences.
The Title I staff and parents of Boiling Springs Elementary School will recognize that each are equal partners in building a home and school partnership in order to provide the best quality education for our children.
