This website is for students and parents to find out any information they
might want to about the Blue Angels team.
About the Blue Angels
Ms. McWhirter and Mr. Soash are very happy to have your son or daughter on their team. The Blue
Angels make their class policies and rules as simple as possible for all
involved and have the same classroom rules and expectations in both of
their rooms.
1) Stems quizzes will be Wednesdays for Science and Fridays for Language Arts.
2) Homework is due at the start of class, but can be turned in the next
day for a late grade unless the student was absent.
3) All absences in order to be counted as "excused" must have a
note turned in within three days of the absence. To be counted as "excused" notes written must be for doctor appointments, death in family, illnesses, or family emergencies. After ten parent notes
excusing your son or daughter for illness a doctor's note is required.
4) The homework hotline code for our team is 8300 and is updated almost
every day by 9:40 AM each weekday morning.
5) Planners are filled out each day with homework assignments, upcoming
quizzes, tests, projects, and grades from those quizzes/tests/projects and
are signed by Mr. Soash. I sign them daily, please check your son/daughter's planner every day if possible

REMEMBER TO MAKE UP ANY MISSING WORK OR ANY QUIZZES/TESTS FROM WHEN YOU ARE ABSENT. It is your responsibility to arrange a time to make it up. A ZERO ON ANY ASSIGNMENT WILL STRONGLY EFFECT YOUR GRADE.
