Homework Assignments
Your child will have homework Monday-Thursday each week, unless notified otherwise by the teacher.There will be a math sheet. Students will have a spelling list each week on the front of Homework sheets. Students are responsible for highlighted words.
Also, please listen to your child read for at least fifteen minutes each night. They do not have to read AR books to record on the Reading Record. They can read magazines, food labels, comic books, newspapers, etc, as long as they are reading something for at least fifteen minutes per day. Remember to sign the Reading Record and the homework sheet each night as this is a part of your child's homework assignment.
If these assignments are changed, it will be indicated on the Homework Sheet. Please be mindful that failure to complete any part of homework will result in a strike.
Please check homework folders daily for important school and classroom news.
Also, it is important that the "Keep at Home" side of the Folder is emptied each night.
