Beginning Monday, March 8th the Education Students will launch the "Stop the R Word Campaign." We are asking students, faculty and staff to sign a pledge sheet during lunch on Mondays and Wednesdays indicating a promise to become educated about implications of the word "retarded" and its negative impact on others. This campaign will show our support of the students at North Shelby School and the Special Olympics. On April 15th we will sponsor a "Spirit Day" for these students as we help them implement a pep rally and tailgate party at North Shelby School~ in honor of the special olympic's athletes. For more information or to get involved with these activities, please contact Mrs. Nanney or Anna Carpenter.

March 15th is the deadline for request for a visitor to come to the prom. You must have a request form filled out and turned in by then.
